    Which one? Fender Prodigy? Fender MIM? Charvette?

    I used to play on a Prodigy in the early 90's with a HS jazz band. From what I can remember it was a pretty versatile and punchy bass. I remember it had a great slap sound too. When looking at your 3 options, the Fender Prodigy would be my choice.

    where are they now?

    @ sobie18. Did you ever find Dave Horn? I played on his Bag Over My Head CD (some guitar, some bass). We lost touch years ago and I've been looking for him and any new music he might have.
