    Country Bassist Club

This has been said here many times already I'm sure, but I'm glad to see this group pop up. Like many, I love Talkbass for the resources and the knowledge you can pick up on so many various subjects but i've always felt it lacked much of anything in regards to those of us who play strictly...

    Texas Bassist Club!

Not sure if I'll get a number, but I'm looking at moving to Austin in the next month or so work and play with the goal of playing fulltime by the end of that summer.

    Country Bassist Club

Haha, I would have to agree with ya! BTW I'm 26 and love country music from the 60's through some of the stuff today. Especially the aforementioned Red Dirt/Texas music scene. I play in a weekend warrior country band now and plan to hopefully move to Austin this summer and try to make a go...

Another bump for Jeremy Plato of Ragweed/Departed. Not a traditional country player but one of the most innovative out there. and Tone for days!

    OLP BASS CLUB (Part-I)

my recommendation would be Nordstrand MM 5.2 replacement pickup. Even further, they make a version for 19mm spacing (for Laklands), I would think about looking for a different bridge. I put a bridge from a Yamaha BB series on mine (few new holes but nothin major) and the 19mm spaced Nordstrand...

    OLP BASS CLUB (Part-I)

OLP MM3. Natural finish/Elm body version, swapped bridge for a Yamaha BB415 bridge with 0.75" spacing. Swapped in a Nordstrand 5.2 p'up with the wider (Lakland) spacing they offer. Added an Artec 3 band pre with sweepable mids. Very clear/quiet preamp for fifty bucks. I did add the SR5...

    jeepin_jer1's Country Tab Collection

Let me know if you guys do, I'll come check it out. CMA Fest has a great collection of artists playing all over downtown, but mannn what a clusterf&%@ of people, not very organized in that regard. Hotter than Hades too.

    jeepin_jer1's Country Tab Collection

Major kudos to the "51 pieces" tab. Jeremy Plato is just about my favorite bass player out on the road right now. Going to see him with The Departed this weekend in Nashville.
