    I recently purchased a Power Mark XX (1981 model) for $500.00, fantastic bass. Before I purchased it I did a fair amount of research on the Daion Bass and from what I found, Daion never made a fretless and all the ones out there are after market fretless basses.     I couldn't see the tip of your connector but I'm betting its a standard 1/4 cable. You need the proper cable for this unit.     Sounds like you could have a stereo output on your bass. Our rhythm guitar player has such a jack on his acoustic guitar. Open the back of the bass and check the type of output jack. If it has two connectors in it then its stereo and your grounding the output signal trying to be used. You...
