    to strap lock or not to strap lock...

    I never use strap locks and only had two basses that have had their straps come off. Mostly due to my own negligence. I've never really understood the need for them.

    I cant get my GK 1001rb loud enough without clipping!!

    What kind of bass are you playing? I know my P-bass clips on my 700rb. I turn the input volume down and the master up when i use the P-bass.
