Curious about the date I'm seeing on my new MIM Fender Geddy Lee sig. I see a 76 then 1990 very clearly. The neck was Mar 4, 2020. I don't see any date but the 1990. Any ideas?

Love my Ibanez BTB1005! You can find 'em on Ebay for about $400-500 and they play/sound outstanding! Fenders play real nice and I'm sure eventually I'll pick one up. They are two different beasts to be honest, it's all about cost, feel & sound (through YOUR amp setup, not the store's).

I have to differ with everyone's opinion. While I will agree that the strings are not a super bright sound to them, that is what I like about them; they have a dark tone to them and they do last quite a while. When using a pick the coating will wear off but it doesn't effect the string's sound...
