    I'm pretty sure I've seen Michael Shumer of Queens of the Stone Age use one of those before. Edit: Here's a video with him using it

    IIRC Mark Whatshisface from the Killers uses a GL Jazz, and Martin Mendez of Opeth uses a Marcus Miller Jazz.

    Definitely one of my favorite "less is more" players. I've always loved the hook on "Rain When I Die".

    Who's your favorite bassist and why?

    Justin Chancellor of Tool. He does a good job locking in with some utterly bizarre drum rhythms, and uses effects in creative ways. Geddy Lee is a close second, his phrasing and talent is always on point.
