    Can I (easily) put a 5-hole Badass/Kickass on my 3-hole US Fender?

The grandfather of them all- the original ‘51 pbass used the three hole pattern with string through too. It’s been around a long time. None of the holes for the three hole pattern line up with the five hole. Not even the middle one. The three hole pattern’s middle hole is slightly closer to the...

    Very interesting new bass!

    They're made in Germany.

    Just my luck...

Yes it's repairable. You mentioned that you put new strings on.... the A string has a big gouge in it too so it looks like you were using A LOT of force to turn the wrench. Is the truss nut stiff? What happens when you loosen it? Is it stiff in both directions?

Why is such a simple P-Bass hard to find?

Good suggestion. I've bought from Andertons before and had no problems

Why is such a simple P-Bass hard to find?

Weirdly, I'm in the same situation wanting that exact style bass and I'm also in Ireland! I'm putting one together from parts at the moment. I didn't bother to go out to the shops to look beforehand. There's a G&L SB2 for sale on Adverts.ie at the moment that might suit you but I know it's not...

Hipshot Ultra Lite Xtender for Lakland Darryl Jones

That would be the 1/2" that you'd need from what I can see from this photo

Pickup cavity too small - which dremel bit do you recommend?

This should be done with a router.

Fender Am Standard / Professional Tuner Weight

Thank you so so much! That was exactly what I was looking for! And, even if you had a need to redeem yourself (which you didn't) you've certainly done that!! :D So, 72g that's not bad - not as light as Hipshot Ultralites but not bad at all! Great to know and thanks again! Still haven't got my...

Advice needed on Drop D tuner for Mustang PJ

As far as I'm aware, Hipshot are the only company that make a drop tuner. They make the BT10 which would be a direct replacement. If you want to reduce weight and add a drop tuner, then your only options are their ultralight tuners which would involve drilling.

What's a good replacement speaker for a Mesa boogie powerhouse 1x15....I blew the coil on it I think

I'd say your best bet would be to shoot Mesa an email. The PowerHouse series is a current product so they should be able to sort you out.
