I try not to “hear with my eyes” but…. That just looks like it sounds great! Lol

Inflation and are you near your limit?

I had my eye on a cab last year. It was 699….now 879… so definitely affected my buying decision. This was a want not an immediate need. It just doesn’t seem worth that nearly 900 to me.

Welp, that neo 115 cab I was considering went from 699 to 879.. I was on the fence about it before as I wasn’t sure if it was worth the 699(to me), but now I just don’t think I’d use it enough to get my nearly 900 bucks worth. Darn it Fender! Hopefully used nearby will happen.

    Whatever happened to Crate amps?

I had a BX215E in my wilder days that I bought used. Both handles broke off. I painted silver, then gave it to my brother who painted it plaid. Still works! Definitely cheap gear, but it did get the job done relatively well with my Hartke HA4000. I don’t think I have any photos of it, at least...

What color do you wear when you play in public? (Poll)

Always jeans and chucks. Summer T-shirts or light pearl snaps. Winter flannel or darker pearl snaps.. that’s for my country band and my Americana/folk band. Orchestra/Choir or any other “fancy” music setting is concert black: slacks and button up.

thought about that as well. I’ve got the 610 for the big volume though.. and man is that loud. Hoping 1 will be fine. Now just waiting for them to get back in stock. Thanks!

Great! That’s what I was hoping. Sounds like it would be plenty for what I want it for.

for sure no issues with the 610. It will take anything the 800 will through at it. The 500watts at 4ohms I was referring to was the 210 eden I’ve been using for small gigs with the 800, Always at what I feel like are safe volumes for that cab. No signs of distress type volumes. I love the...

Thanks! The 800 with the 610 is a beast for sure, mostly relegated to outdoor gigs. I’ve been playing bass for a little over 20yrs in bands ranging from country to alt rock and jazz even a little metal(but not my cup of tea). I’ve kind of settled into a PBass with flats sound the last few...

Ever been fired from a band?

Never.... (now googling people I've been in bands with to see if they reformed without me)

Howdy! Seems like the right place to ask this, if not send me on my way then. I'm using a Bassman 800 with the NEO 610 for large gigs, but am looking at maybe the NEO 115 for the smaller stuff and rehearsals. Any advice on if that particular cab as a stand alone for that use? Currently using...

    Fender 9050 After 6mos(sort of)

Still using the 9050L’s on my Jazz for quite a while now. Still really like them and they have aged well. Tried some on my P-Bass, but I think I’ll try some LaBella’s on that one instead. I think they fit the jazz a whole lot better.

what is your most expensive ax that you refuse to play...

I’ve never owned a Bass I wouldn’t gig. Someone mentioned how cheap they are compared to other instruments... i cringe when I think about how I used to take my trumpet to stadiums for football games in band though. It’s much more expensive than any Bass I have and at this point it’s...

Do you warm up before you practice?

I warm up, probably due to my first instrument being trumpet, which you really do have to warm up to play. I feel a lot more comfortable on Bass after a few minutes of scales or something simple. Helps me get into the right mindset as well.

Which "current" PASSIVE Fender P-Bass would you buy today

I voted am pro. I got one just a few months ago(used). Definitely a quality instrument. A keeper for sure. Just haven’t been able to gig with it yet cause of the ‘rona.
