    Ken on Jeopardy!

He is! We're still in touch. Shout out to any other old timers who remember either of us.

20 years ago, I posted here when I got my first high-quality bass...

As I remember, I peppered you with a few questions about it when I was deciding whether or not to make the purchase, a lot of money for me at the time. It was a good investment!

It's just that nobody likes me... Yeah I was active a long time ago, was a moderator even. But alas, I drifted away. Always a TBer in my heart though.

Ain't it funny how time slips away? Man, I was just a kid. Anyway, still have it, still love it. Reverend Rumblefish XL. I've played it in five or six different bands over the years.

Nope, we actually came out here for my wife's job. Just thought we'd try to live in one of the nuttiest housing markets possible, you know?

As of today I have been a Talkbass member for half my life!

Haven't been active in the last several years, but I still thought this was an interesting date because boy I used to spend a lot of time here. When I first registered, I was 18, now I'm 36. Then I lived in Virginia, now I'm in California. I was a sexless wonder, now I'm newly married. Just a...

Catch me up on DI/preamp pedal options

Sup all, olde time TB member here, I stopped coming around when I found that I was completely satisfied with the gear I had... shocking I know... But it seems like my old Sansamp BDDI might be biting the dust. What's new in the last several years? I know they made the VT Bass into the same...

    Chorus Pedals?

Agreed on the CE-5. It's one of the few pedals I've tried on bass that I'm 100% satisfied with, not interested in looking at any other chorus pedals.

    Ten years with my bass.

I actually like the 5L tone better for finger style. Super tight. The XL is more of a rocker and sounds great with a pick.

I think they go up for sale from time to time on this very board... check the fan club thread

    Ten years with my bass.

The exact date is lost to history, but sometime in late 2001 I got my first good bass, a Reverend Rumblefish XL. Here we are at our first meeting, I a college sophomore (dig that posh dorm room) and it a lovely new instrument. A lot of you (no judgment here) are bass polygamists in a big...
