Score! Clean SWR Bigfoot-2 cab.....Bag End drivers toast. Recone or ???

I replaced with LeSon. I know that speakers have a break-in period so I only pushed it with 500 watts @ 4 ohms with my GK MB500. When I feel it's broken in, I'll use my Mesa Boogie Subway WD-800. I didn't experience any signs of the speakers showing weakness and I had her cranked 3rd and 4th...

Score! Clean SWR Bigfoot-2 cab.....Bag End drivers toast. Recone or ???

I got an empty Bigfoot 2 and loaded it with new Eminence Legend that go down to 35hz. Plugged it in and needed to replace the LeSon piezo tweeter that came with the emptyish cabinet. Agedhorse is correct in that replacing with new costs more than it's worth ($320 total), but I absolutely love it...

    Nashville Guitar Works

I also tried one at the MGR in Ann Arbor months ago. I think it was a P or PJ. I was very impressed. I didn't plug it in, but thought it was a great bass for the dollar.

NBD - First one in 43 years - Fender 75th Anniversary Commemorative P-Bass

Sweetwater usually just sends a little bag of candy with smaller purchases. Guess you gotta go big to get a bottle of Bourbon....

    NBD: Turquoise and Tort

I bought one when G.C. recently had their sale. I had a friend play it live and agreed it needed a pickup change. I put in a Bartolini and it had much better definition. IDK about a bridge change yet, as anything high mass would probably require a neck shim to compensate for the raised bridge...

NBD!! I got my Starry Night!

Hiya neighbor (Michigan here)! Awesome nice basses and one likes what one likes, but....why not mix it up with other basses for different tones? Just curious....

    NBD… Interesting bass..

IDK if it's been said yet (no time for 5+ pages), but there is a video on YT about the "Secret tones of the Peavey T-40" or something like that. It demonstrates how this bass can sound like many, many popular basses.

    Who’s playing a squire?

I believe that's a Vintage Modified. I bought one a few years ago. I put on a dark tortoise shell pick guard and a split coil Jazz pick up (Fender 55). I love it!

What bass would you buy in a heartbeat if it existed

I would love a Fender PJ 5 string with a Precision body style. It likely wouldn't be my main player, but I'd love to have one in my collection to chose from.

NBD ( sort of a tribute to Leo )

OR....just reposition the string tree. They're all off in the same direction, moving the string tree would likely make them all line up straighter.

NBD: Beautiful Ziricote Sadowsky with Flame Maple and Amazon Rosewood

Forgive me if someone else has already addressed this, but I haven't read through the 5 pages of comments. The B string is tapered and the E string is not, hence the different than usual intonation lengths.
