Married my college sweetheart, together we have two (now adults and married) children and my current vocation of choice is as a software engineer for a Healthcare / Medical software company.
I completed Undergraduate and Graduate studies in Music and Music Education... a very long time ago.
I enjoy playing music of almost any style as long it is done well and with good people. While I do enjoy getting some enumeration from time to time, I play primarily for the enjoyment of playing good music with good people.

- A 1864 Viennese double bass w/ C Extension & an early 90's Carvin six string BG, an AI Clarus head, 2 EA cabs, 2 GK 200MB's from the mid-80's, a LDS custom cab 2x8" w/ mid and tweeter, a 1965 SB12 Ampeg amp.

- Swing Band / Big Band, Traditional Jazz, some smooth jazz, musical theater, bluegrass, some folk, Early Music ensembles and Orchestral playing esp from the Baroque / Classical periods
- Gigs and Ensembles
- Several swing bands in the area, bluegrass band, Gypsy Swing ensemble, and numerous music theater groups. In addition my wife (an excellent keyboardist) and I have played and/or led praise and worship teams at our churches over the years. While we still enjoy playing, but we are out of the "leading" side of things these days.
- Previously Owned Gear
- 1962 Kay (which I do miss) / Pedulla Thunderbolt 5 & Thunderbolt 6 / Pedulla PentaBuzz fretless / Warwick FNA Jazzman / G&L 2500 / MIJ Fender Jazz 5 fretless - I miss each of these as each one had it's own voice - but other priorities come up in life - like sending two kids to college - relocating for work - etc... Most missed amp - my Eden World Tour head with Eden 4X10 and 2X10 cabs - I truly loved that sound but my back got tired of moving them ;)
