I can deal with hum or slight buzz. The part I hate is the pop from the grounding. So if I don't touch any metal, there is a hum. As soon as I touch and metal, *pop* . I'm tempted to keep the SCNs in but I'm at a loss on how to stop the pop. I'm Defintely trying shielding next.

Scn sounded great, didn't solve the grounding problem. Next step, preamp replacement. I'm Beyond frustrated.

picture quality is poor but you get the point. the oval is darker in person. I wouldnt mind if it were on the back or near the control plate.
