This is so true. It's funny, because if the bass drops out for a section they feel it, but that moment of insight, thinking "hey, maybe *I* should try that"... well it's a rare thing.

I always marvel at the GC business model. Step one: make expensive things feel awful to use, step three: profit. But this is a real dilemma for newer players, because it takes a lot of messing around with set-ups to be able to tell the difference between a bass that would be great for you once...

It does hang funny. The internet suggested a strap button on the treble side of the bridge, which helped a lot.
