Well ten years after the above post, I just bought a nice Applause AE40 for 200.00 including tax and shipping. It's a deal at that price today. The Applause doesn't compare with a Breedlove or several other's but it's a nice bass.

Is the Intonation good all the way up the neck? Some Kala's are not.

Is the intonation good all the way up and across the neck? I've see some Kala's that have a problem with intonation.
