I was able to get through to Washburn/ KMC Music and we were able to figure out I have a prototype or sample model that was manufactured sometime in the early 1990s (likely 1990 or '91). Thanks again, David

Trying to find the serial number on my Washburn AB-20, 4-string. It has an Equis II EQ, which says it was made in England. I opened up the back and didn't see anything behind the backplate of the controls, the back of the headstock, can't see into the soundhole because of the thin slats, and...
