I know this thread is old but curious how long the hard as nails finish holds up? Does Kiesel offer refinishing if needed? Love the sound of them and just curious. Thanks.

Thanks. I appreciate the info. I am interested in a passive bass, not active. I agree with you. I haven't seen anyone seem to regret any of these basses. They must be solid! I have a couple of Fenders and do like them but Yamahas have such a great reputation that I think it will get a hard...

Curious about these basses as I've owned Yamahas before that were excellent. The Yamaha BB434/35 look like a nice bass as well. Not sure of the differences between it and the BBP34/35
