Following my previous post with my full collection of SX.

Found this gem for $75 on marketplace. I have five now with the original headstock, but this is my first with frets.

I suppose I could shape the wood with the radius block, getting it down to fretboard quality, then epoxy it but I'm not really looking to make a bass neck from scratch just to practice on. Given the time and elbow grease I think I'd rather get a junk bass to practice on, which isn't a bad idea...

Thanks dabb. I knew you'd have the answer. I sounds dead compared to my jazz bass, zero mwah. I hope it's just the strings, which I pulled of my 2nd jazz; stock SX flats.
