    What’s wrong with me?

This made me laugh. And then again.

    What’s wrong with me?

My first bass amp was an Ampeg 4 Pro with the Pro410. Sounded like a tank. I liked it. Band hated it. That only lasted six months, due to volume problems. I had to turn it up too loud to hear the notes I was playing. I realize my problem only now. I would have trouble with the knobs. It just...

    What’s wrong with me?

Nothing as far as I can tell. The question is: am I wrong or my ears wrong? See, I’m a new bassist, and I come here for confirmation. Maybe I’m missing something, and I don’t know what it even is.

    What’s wrong with me?

What’s wrong with me? I like all this Peavey equipment. I know it will last forever and it sounds good to my ears. Are they tin? Do I not hear correctly? Maybe I don’t know good sound. I don’t know. But: My first guitar was a PV Strat copy, a Predator I think they call it. The best guitar I’ve...

    U.S. Peavey Club

I think I belong here. PV amps last forever. They sound good. This is mine. There are many like it, but this one is mine: Peavey Grind into a Peavey Firebass plugged into either an Ampeg 410 Pro or a GJ Neo 410. Love both. My favorite guitar amp is a PV VK212 with a Marshall 412 added. My dad‘s...

    My happy place

Fdeck’s HPF is hanging just for show. Of course I don’t leave it like that.

    My happy place

This is my proud bass rig. There are many like it but this one is mine. All items pictured scored used and cheap. Sounds great through either cab. Just got the GK yesterday from a pawn shop for $250. Haven’t tried them together, probably will soon. Just wanted to share with this great community...

What's going to replace the Precision?

The “Inexactness” I used a dictionary to find the best antonym. I don’t know why post 209 happened. Sorry about that.

Out of tune, but that’s alright…

It’s a lyric and title, by an obscure Houston producer/promoter in the 90’s. A sort of theme song for Out of Tune Records iirc. Quite catchy.

Out of tune, but that’s alright…

Moises sounds like the way to go. I’m going to try that tonight. Thanks for all the responses and suggestions. Talkbass ftw.

Out of tune, but that’s alright…

I commonly used YouTube for songs I don’t wish to own. For others, it’s flac quality original recordings.

Out of tune, but that’s alright…

For those artists I do tune down. It’s for artists like Bob Marley that I have to tune down, then bend up.
