I'm running a GK Fusion 550 through a Barefaced Big Twin II for the bass side, and I wouldn't trade that for anything. I switch to the Mesa Powerhouse 1000 cab for outdoor gigs. So my bass side is VERY much covered. Whatever I use on the treble side will be it's own standalone rig.

It's the sound of the cab too. I don't think a single bass cab will give you the same sound on the treble side that a guitar rig will.

Is that why Lemmy put one cab on each side of the drums?

Any reason you went with 10's instead of 12's? Have you ever tried 12's? I thought 10's might sound too thin for bass rig.

As much as I would love not to lug around a second amp, I think I really want the treble side to have the crunch and drive of a guitar amp.
