Yes, treble & bass knobs have a huge impact on the overall sound. I like a dark bass tone so I don't push that much the treble knob, of course you need to crank up the bass knob as it is a guitar amp but not all the way up.

The tone was really dark with 500K pots so it was even darker and muffled with 250K pots. I think it has something to do with my strings. Nothing's wrong with 250K pots ;)
