Indeed. I was lucky to get this bass brand new on ebay after two years since this edition appeared in stores. Lightweight, ergonomic, charming... And its body resonates so good especially when you hit the E string. Boneshaking. I even sold my '84 MIA Jazz with no regrets because of this one. So...

I didn't like G&L for their look. But these basses are absolutely jaw-dropping. Especially white pearl one. Totally changed my mind. drool

That's a lot of great ideas! Maybe get em all and switch to match your shoes/bowtie color. But i like black one too although.
