I prefer Hipshot over Gotoh. The tone difference wouldn't be noticable. We use Hipshot in our shop and swear by them!

I have a few sets of Seymour Duncan Tone Circuits and every one of them has a noisy blender pot. These are newly installed on new basses and every thing else is beautiful. The blender pot is scratchy and even after cleaning, it is noisy. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is it just a bad...

I use Sfarzo strings. THey hold up better than any others I've used.
