Wood Pickguard

I'd love to make/get made a wood pickguard for a 51 P-bass. Something flamed and sexy (not worrying about scratches)

Web searches lead to some dead-ends. I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions:

1. custom maker or luthier who does them

2. source of wood (seems most of the veneers online are too thin).


Custom Pickguarden seems to be offline (i've contacted the owner via ebay....we'll see).

We make them. Many custom builders will make one for you.

You most certainly do make them! Beautiful work. I've taken the liberty of posting a photo of a guitar with a wood pickuguard from your site. I dont know why more people dont do this.

I have ordered one from Custom Pickguarden, a rosewood for a PBASS.
