Well, Bargain Musician sent me a pretty stinkin' nice body with my kit today. I'm loving the spalt lines in it! :hyper: My plan is to tru-oil the body and headstock up to a gloss finish, but leave the neck with a thinner coat like my Stingray. I'll decide tomorrow if I want to darken it...

Not attached to active/passive at all. Stock, it's already passive. Just didn't know if there was a rule of thumb for which is a better option to swap out first, assuming I hate how it sounds stock.

Finally received my swamp ash gecko body from warmth. :hyper: I've got 2 pieces of this chestnut burl veneer to bookmatch for the top. Since the veneer with darken a lot more than the swamp ash body after I start finishing with tru-oil, I'd like to darken the sides and back of the body...
