Needing help with a strap maker

I know it's a stretch, but I recently had a Gaboon Viper die and I'm hoping someone here could point me to a custom strap maker that may be willing to use the skin to make a strap for me. It's not quite long enough to be the whole strap, so I'm thinking it would need to be an inlay/inset in the strap.

I've included a photo for you to see that these snakes have a gorgeous pattern and I don't want to go the DIY route, as I likely won't have another one of these skins for a long time and don't want to risk screwing it up.

Harnessing the power of Google got me nowhere, so I figured I'd ask around here to see if anyone had the knowledge and could point me in the right way. Thanks in advance!

There's a shop here locally that does a lot of custom work. Don't recall the name but I know where it is. I'll get by there as soon as the roads clear (rained all day and frozen tonight) and ask. If it looks good I'll get you some contact info.

Heck you're in Texas just google the local saddle maker/boot maker custom leather worker and I'm sure they'll be happy to do it for you. I would be sure it's 2 layers thick and seriously double stitched around the strap holes. Heck my local Harley dealer even has their own leather lady that does custom work. I'll bet there are several right near you within spittin' distance. Good luck that's a nice skin!
