I just bought a Damien Platinum 4 and really like it. Mine isn't the halloween edition though. I love the orange finish and the black bat inlays but I just couldn't justify spending almost $300 more for what is basically just a different color scheme.

Definitely one of the more unique basses I have seen. It reminds me of a splatter of paint or something. Very cool!

I am eyeballing the 1400E for my next purchase in the not too far off future. I love the mojito green... but I also like to play 5 strings so I have been looking at the 1405E too even though I don't like it's finish quite as much as the 4 string. First world problems I suppose.

Had one of these like 10 years ago and I regret ever having sold it. The are so hard to find these days and the ones I do find are either ridiculously overpriced or in crappy condition.

DR Lo Riders....nickel on my 5 string and stainless steel on my 4. Bought them based on the advise of the guy at the bass shop...I regret nothing.
