    I've bought the laminated poplar bass from Upton Bass at $1800 and I really like the sound. The sound approximate the Scot Lafaro sound. I've added the Realist David Cage pick-up and the K&K Golden Bullet and I'm getting a full and natural sound when I need to amplify.

    I've bought a laminated one from upton Bass at $1,800 and I really like the sound. Not expensive and worth every penny. I've installed a Realist pick-up and the K&K Golden Bullet microphone. The amplified sound is full and natural.
