I'm reviving this thread. I've been gigging with my F-1X for years, preamp volume at around 8, and some sound guys were happy with the post-DI out, others wanted nothing to do with it saying crap was coming out and only worked with the pre-DI out. I never bothered because the sound I was hearing...
