I'm looking into getting a new compressor and was curious if their is a big difference between the discontinued cali76 (TX,STD) and the cali76 compact deluxe, besides the obvious price of course. Also, why were these models discontinued?

I am going for more of a metal tone with this bass and the aguilar gives it a great full low end sound but its not the sound I am hearing in my head. The SD will be twice what I paid for the AG and its "not" that hard of a pill to swallow right now.

So I changed the pickup in my sub ray 5 from stock to an AG 5M a little under a year ago and completely enjoyed it as soon as I plugged in after the operation. Sadly I am getting an inch on switching it again and this time I am eyeing a seymour duncan, this one to be exact. Music Man Should I...
