Hello, my 1st frets are buzzing along all the strings and my low C and F string (we tune CGCF) buzz on the 1st 3 frets. I am pretty sure I can adjust this in the head of the neck with an alan wrench. Is this a easy fix or should I take it local (they do it free). Also what should I beware of...

The Bass doesnt have active pickups. I tried my speaker cable and my guitarist from his cab. I also plugged into his cab and nothing. I am about to check if the D.I. works.

I tried with my new bass and the head still wont return to full volume. I most likely have to take it in. I called some guitar shops. What could the issue be? What caused this? Does anyone have any thoughts / ideas on this? I was using a speaker cable and matching OHMs. Do I just have horrible luck?

if it is a broken transistor, will I be able to stil go direct at clubs?

The pad is up, I just changed the battery a month ago. I get a new bass in the mail anyday now. So ill check with that and get back to you all. Thanks for teh help and I welcome more suggestions/thoughts.

i am using a monster speakre cable. I tried a guitar on the rig since I dont have another bass and it was still very low volume. I replaced ever cable and even plugged the head into my buddys guitar cab. Still low volume. Im thinking its in the head. damn it.

Its a Gallien Krueger 700RBII with match cab, 4 X 10's. I dont know what went wrong. I hope its not expensive I just bought this used. Worked for about a month. Gigged it out 4 times.

I am running my bass through guitar gt8. I only want to use the effects. I dont want it to color my tone with there amps and so on. When I turn the amps and eqs off though everything sounds flat. So is there anyway I can get my tone and only have the effect over my tone. Kinda like individual...

I currently play my bass clean and have a Metal zone I use for heavy distortion on certain riffs. But I would like to have my bass have a little distortion all the time instead of always clean. Any tasteful distortion boxes that will make my bass sound alittle more punchier and meaner???
