I am a noobie and very late to this dance BUT, I just obtained a Mitchell MB200GM complete with the mysterious battery drain, SO - I have just taken a digital mA meter and tied into the battery negative lead and guess what? there's 2.24 mA going out in ANY condition - cord plugged in or NOT...
