Imo the best "upgrades" you can do are a proper setup, some work on the frets if they have sharp ends, nut and tuners if you have a problem with tuning stability. Everything else is subjective.

LOL yea, I don't expect them to sound like this forever, and I'm gonna change them as soon as possible. I was just shocked how rusty strings sound so good just after being taken off and put on. This can be a useful trick in a studio I guess.

Haha, well Yugos were in production till 2008. and our is made in 1998. Slightly different dashboard and nothing else. Yugoslavia spec models had stronger engines than US ones. Several classmates also have Yugo. It became "the car".
