I use my Spark mini all the time for bass. Can’t push it too hard or it breaks up, but for just practicing and playing along to a backing track, it is fine. I assume I would have similar results with the Neo. I do not play overly loud when I am practicing.

Since @Don Kasper’s chord dropped the major 3rd and perfect 5th, it would be confusing to me to have a b10. I would look at as a minor major 7th chord and not the desired Maj 7 #9 #11. But that is just me.

Ok. When I zoomed a bit the chord looked like it had an A natural not a flat. Your voicing is G, Ab, C#, F# and Bb which is root, minor 2nd, #11, Maj7, minor 3 (although I think it functions as the #9 in your example), but you drop the maj 3rd and perfect fifth for this voicing.

Not sure how you are getting an A natural on a Gmaj7 #9 #11 - Can you expound a bit on your thoughts on the chord voicing because ot looks like you have a natural 9 (described by the A natural) and a #9 (described by the Bb). I want to learn something from this post. I assume the notes of the...

I just picked up this Hofner 500/1 1961 Relic. I love relics. If done correctly they feel like an old pair of jeans. Especially after I got it setup and Plek’d. These are pics that the seller took. I have removed the pickguard since the purchase.
