    Dude, all of us have been booted by one band or another. It’s not how many times you get knocked down it’s how many times you can get back up. Be kind to them they will at some point learn your value and keep playin. Your worth it. OK.

    Actually I’d have to say bass is more about the rythum than the notes. They are secondary although many of my guitar playing friends might disagree!

    Hey Buddy, Are you taking blood pressure medicine? They often reduce flow to your extremities. As an experiment try sitting down while playing to see if it helps. Could also be your strap cutting off flow. But a very good wide strap and see if that helps.

    Try a Crate Bus. About $150 on the street. Keep in mind batteries do need replacing every once in a while. The best battery powered bass amp is a Phil Jones Briefcase. About $650. I a bit concerned about your quest to as cheap as possible. That's a hell of a life's philosophy.
