    The laws of physics, pure and simple: bass needs lots more power and the speakers and cabs have to be designed more correctly to get anywhere near a decent sound, as people have already said here in this thread....

    Yeah I know: I saw that :crying: At the very least I have found the info I was after: I may sell them, or hang them on the wall, or build a cab for them with a crossover to take the bass out :hmm: Thanks for all your help guys: much appreciated!

    2841 is the same as 4281. Numbering changed after c 1978. Got the T/S data from the T/S database. Sorted! :hyper:

    Thiele/Small info for Gauss 2841 12"

    Hi all, Can anyone supply me with or point me to where I might get the Thiele/Small parameters for a 12" Gauss 2841 driver? I can't find info anywhere....:mad: I have a couple of 2841's that I was given back in '94 as chassis sans cones and I finally got them rebuilt about 4 years ago...
