Do you keep it "off" until you want to bring effects in? I had envisioned it always being enabled in the 100% clean setting and then fading in effects as needed. I didn't consider the aspect of enabling/disabling before.

Oh wow that thing has options galore. I really like the separate A and B gain stages and the option to go from blend to mix. Will add this one to the mix of decisions as well!

Thanks so much for the information it sounds like a new power supply is in order for me. Now I know what I need to be looking for. I was scoping out a CiOKS DC10 but will add this Vodooo Labs 4x4 to my list as well as it seems pretty beefy.

The power brick is an older DC10 model that isn't made anymore. This one here: https://www.amazon.com/dunlop-dc-brick-power-supply/dp/b0002e4y06 It has 3 18 volt plugs which I have not tried to use. Would that be a potential solution or a potential way to wreck my pedal?

No I did not - the treble pot still had the three wires connected to the pre-amp. I guess that would do it? The circuit goes from being just contained within the pot itself to going out through the preamp and back to the opposite prong on the pot?
