Hi I have the 60s Sunburst Jazz version, it’s really good well made and sounds great once I had it set up properly, I don’t know which year it’s based on or if it’s a composite of different years, maybe someone could shed some light on that , weighs around 9 lbs

Interesting, this person has his thumb behind index finger and points to the headstock , which is pretty much where I have mine , I’ve always found it uncomfortable trying to flatten my thumb and position right behind 2nd finger, although some people advise that’s best place for correct hand...

Yes it’s more over the first finger would you say it’s better over the second finger

Good point I’ll try these , I don’t bend the strings all the time but at some during playing I will , say on a minor pentatonic run starting on the octave on G for example when I play the fifth on D with my 3rd finger I can see I’m unintentionally bending the string
