Paul, very sorry to read the news. I hope you’re able to find as much comfort as possible in these times.

It’ll get plenty loud as it is, so not really looking for a total gain boost. Just expected the bass to have more sharp attack than it does. It’s nice and bright when played without the amp, but seems a bit subdued once its powered up.

It’s a bit soft to my ears, but I’ve gone ages between when I used to really play and now. I could be way off with my assessment.

I’m not even sure which pre is in my Euro. It’s a UK limited edition, with the Aguilar p/j p/u’s. Anderson’s had it listed as having a tone pump, but I’m a bit skeptical that is what actually resides inside.

This is a 4-pot (vol, vol, bass, treb) pre? Reading from my phone, so it’s hard to tell.

I could be interested. The Aguilar set in my Euro seems really soft to my ears. How much are you asking?

I think this is what I was getting at when I said my Aguilar equipped LE sounded much softer than I had anticipated. It's not as punchy as I thought it would be, and maybe not quite as aggressive as I was hoping for. This could of course also have to do with the amp I'm running it through, which...

hey Brent. I recently picked up one of the Euros you were asking about. No idea how to compare it to the Barts, as I’ve never heard them, but I will say this one sounds softer (is that a thing) than I was anticipating. Here’s mine.

Why not pick up an LT instead? They come with the DarkGlass pre-amp from the factory, no?
