    Anyone else notice that the mm sabre and fender dimension are alike?

    The musician and the dimension seem to be a lot alike. Especially with the fender using the mm truss rod system.

    I don't think the new one has S1 switching. I have a 08' jazz and there is nothing wrong with the pickups.

    Better off with a Marcus Miller preamp/power amp. Same tone probably of the SM1500 with more options If you like the 12.0, there is no reason not to go with the Max9.2

    IMHO the neck pickup gets you close but, its not as round sounding as a P pickup
