What tubes should I use for my SVTII (Non-Pro)

The head is actually sounding quite dead. The tubes in there are over a decade old, and I find myself using the bright switch, which I never used before. I think it's just high time I replace the tubes, as I've been using this as my primary amp for the last 3 years now. Thanks for the info, I...

What tubes should I use for my SVTII (Non-Pro)

So it's high time I replaced the tubes in my SVTII, and I was wondering what tubes I should get. I use JJ's in an old Silvertone 1485 and they've been spectacular. Badass II vs Badass III, Are they a direct swap? Also, opinions please!

With Fenders you can tell which bridge will work by the number of screws. American Fenders up to ~1992-1995 (non st6ring-threw with 22 frets) take neither, 95 on take BAIII, and MIM Standards and Highway 1 take BAII. I've been searching for BAIII's for my string-through P-Basses for about 2...

    project: P-Bass! (electronics, and pickups)

If you're looking for versatile, you may want to check out the Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar bass. When I first tried this out in the store, I didn't realize it was a Squier. It's got Duncan Designs P and J pickups, and stacked volume/tone pots like a 62 Jazz Bass.

Leo Quan Badass III bridge shortage?

What doesn't help, is that according to my sources, Leo Quan was having health issues (that was according to Allparts), and being a rather small company, they were out of production a year or 2 ago. The BAIII is used on that Frank Bello signature, and the BAII is used on the Geddy Lee, and Mike...
