I just though id share this. I bought a Fender USA Jazz bass from ebay a few weeks ago, but the poly finish was damaged where the strap button attaches on the top horn. It looked pretty bad so I thought id have ago at a repair. To cut a long story short i filled the hole with P38 car filler and...

I had to make the pick guard out of a piece of 3 ply tortoise shell. Just a case of tracing around the original guard. Sorry about the stickers that was my 4 year old. Link Removed

Here's my attempt of modding my Bronco. Its got Jazz bass pickups, 4 saddle bridge. its been stripped and spray with nitro cellulous paint and the neck has been tinted. I had to make the pick guard. I think she looks great. Link Removed

If anyone's interested I'm also selling this 1978 Precision Bass. It sounds great and is very clean and set up properly. Also very light, about 8lbs 10 oz. There's a bit of buckle rash and some of the paint has come off around the shoulder- apart from that its in excellent condition...

Can anybody tell me if this is just a standard jazz bass. Its got a parallel pickup S1 switch on one of the pots. Serial number Z7042134
