    Fender all day everyday. I don't know why people think MIM is a cheap product. I own usa, custom shops and MIM and the MIM is just as good as the rest sometimes even better IME/IMHO

    @Scarface these are actually both MIM P basses. I made the sunburst to resemble a 76 and the blue to more of a 60s. I took the shine off the lake placid blue and boy does it chip easily when it gets banged around

    Agreed. I have tried everything and GK just impress me every time. I got my 700RB-II used for around 300 and it's never had a hiccup

    I've been out of GAS for a while since the price of everything got out of hand..lol. I finally settled on what I love and know that works for me : Fender Basses, Gallien-Krueger amps and Bergantino cabs
