    Double Bass String Spacing Nightmare

This is the scariest craigslist post I have ever seen and quite possibly the worst string spacing ever done. The seller claims it's "vintage" and "very rare"

    Musicman Neck-through...is it really new?

My question is who would want to feel paint on the neck while they are trying to play? seems like the original stingray with maple neck would be way smoother than the matching paint of these new stingrays

Double Bass "K.C. Strings" bass, Who's heard of 'em?

I recently came across a seemingly inpressive collection of fully carved and hybrid basses located in Kansas City. The shop is called K.C. Strings and they offer fully carved basses for under $5,000. Here's a link: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] The only trouble is that most of their lineup...

    Jaguar Bass compatible w/ Warmoth?

I have a fender Jaguar squier bass and it has never been modified in any way. I am considdering getting a wamoth neck installed, but I don't know if it will fit on the body. I read that the contour of the neck is similar to that of a J bass, but it isn't identical. Thanks for the help!

wood on a squire jag bass

I was looking over my squire jag bass (aprox. 2009) and I was wondering if fender (although crafted in indonesia) decided to put real indian rosewood for the fingerboard or if they just used some cheap alternative. I think the neck itself is real maple.. maybe thanks!

Double Bass Upton Bass $259 brazillwood bow?

I looked at those gollihur bows now it seems you may have changed my mind about buying an upton bow. The have a pernambuco bow for $10 less than the upton brazilwood bow! Have you used a golliher bow? I'd like some insight on those now that I've seen the price. Thanks
