wood on a squire jag bass

I was looking over my squire jag bass (aprox. 2009) and I was wondering if fender (although crafted in indonesia) decided to put real indian rosewood for the fingerboard or if they just used some cheap alternative. I think the neck itself is real maple.. maybe
thanks!

I am not certain, but I think Indian rosewood and Indonesian rosewood are the same thing. Any differences would be about the grade/quality of the wood, not the species. They could import fingerboard woods, but using locally available raw materials is probably less expensive.
