    Ampeg SVT-II appreciation thread

    Hey all, I just got a SVT II today, my first all tube bass amp!!! 2 questions :) where can I find a users manual, I couldnt find one on the ampeg site and also what would be the best generic setting for country with a Fender American Jazz V (chrome DRs) Thanks!!!! Eric

    I have $1000 to spend on a bass, what should I get?

    I only have 4 strings a g&l and a schecter custom, I play evrything from classic rock to new rock and country, no jazz or slapping, I'm just looking for versatility with the aforementioned things, I need the 5th string for some of the songs we do

    I wasnt sure which ones had the wider neck at the nut also I would prefer one that would switch between active and passive! thanks for the helpful recommendations guys!
