Yes, I will try that. Maybe I´ll put on a new set. Any advice about how tight/ lose the slot in the nut should be? Will an old string work as a file?

Thanks, will take pics in a few hours. If you could explain to me what twisting is, and what it´d might cause, that would be great. It also comes to mind that the groove in the nut is quite tight for these strings. I had to push the string down. Should it be like that?
