I was looking for a new bass and Warwick basses keep catching my eye. I am looking for one, but they're all quite expensive. Can anyone recommend a new bass comparable to the Warwick, but maybe a little more in my range? I'm looking to cap at about 650.

Definitely. Another thing to avoid is wider leather straps. A lot of people will tell you that it will fix it, and it will... if you like destroying your shirts.

It's pretty heavy. I'd say about comparable to a Les Paul, maybe a hair less heavy. Also, the peg is at about the 16th or 17th fret, so definitely far down. The strap peg's location can be altered though.

Yeah, pretty nice mid-level bass, it's no 1K+ Jazz Bass, but it's the best I can afford. Killer tone though
