So what was your expectation? The results are pretty much what I would expect.

Mostly Jazz Bass pattern instruments with Nordstrand 'Big' pickups. Big singles, big splits, Bigman, Big splitman, etc.

Whatever these are, mostly... I have a couple of P-Basses, and a Kramer Duke with a back-to-back Jazz pickup thingy (DiMarzio "Twin J"), but most of my 2 dozen or so basses have their pickups - of whatever type - arranged like these. More or less...

Been 98% this (1989 AVRI precision with an Aguilar pickup, now wearing Fender flats instead of the D'Addario rounds pictured here), with the occasional 5 string sprinkled in.

@Edgetone I just bought a Caprice much like yours. How are you liking yours?

I love my Caprice. It has one of the most full and smooth and growly sounding tones of any bass I've owned. I have other wonderful instruments, but the Caprice just has that fantastic, deep sound.

I'm considering getting it refinished to a buttercream colour with the tort, because I already have an LB100 in burst with tort.

I'm an old Fender P bass player, have owned and still do own a variety of basses and have switched to Fender P/J basses now, but to me their just P's with an extra pickup although I did pick P/J in the poll.
