What kinda 4 stringers in 2019 are people playing?

I love my Caprice. It has one of the most full and smooth and growly sounding tones of any bass I've owned. I have other wonderful instruments, but the Caprice just has that fantastic, deep sound.

I'm considering getting it refinished to a buttercream colour with the tort, because I already have an LB100 in burst with tort.

Yes the Caprice has that something special in the tone and feel department. I honestly think mine is the best passive 4 string I've ever encountered .

The Sage Green one is basically a 70's Jazz style with Nordstrand NJ4 pickups and Carey's 3-band preamp.

The Burgundy Mist one is kind of a mutant P. Aero pickup and East P-Retro preamp with a wenge neck that is more of a Jazz width.

I voted for something else (J-type noiseless EMG's in a soapbar case), but I do play a PJ setup too. During this year most likely something else as well..

I voted P, because it's what I mainly use live with my bands (99% of the time), but I mostly use a Stingray at home. It used to be 50:50 between them live, but the bands I used Stingray with are no longer active. It might change in the near future.
