What kinda 4 stringers in 2019 are people playing?

My primary is a Warwick $$ (so MM+MM) but I also have a P, P+J and a soap bar.

My main basses are a classic style Precision (I have two – one '60's style and one late '50's style) and a stock '76 Musicmaster Bass (which uses a single coil guitar pickup under the smooth cover).

I have a classic style J too, and just added a Mustang+J bass (the J pickup is pretty much useless to me, but that's the only way the bass came). I use the J anywhere I'd use a P (I generally use the neck pickup only). I got the Mustang to be my only bass that I use with heavy gauge roundwounds and/or a pick. All my basses have heavy gauge flats, except for this one.

Jazz bass, P bass, and a PJ. That's it for me.

I have voted P+J, that means Jazz bass AND Precision. To me, this is the basis. I own also other basses with different configuration (P/J, Double humbucker, single MFD, double lipstick, single coil Hanson Chisonic, but nothing replaces these 2 configurations.

Dingwall four-strings - P, P/J, and an NG-2 (Stingray killer). It would not have done any good for me to vote in your poll, it would only skew your results. I play mine in rotation, and I dig 'em all. If it helps any, I would say that my favorite pickup is the split-P.

Dual humbucker, ideally with series/parallel/split potential. At the least, series parallel. But dual hb's are by far my preferred. But I also have and play SSS, SH, SS, PJ, MM...variety is the spice of life

I try to circulate my basses frequently (seems to prevent jealousy between them), but I own mostly jazz basses. However, the most recent addition (an amazing Christmas gift) is a p bass. And I am building a p bass (to be finished any day now). But truthfully, I'm playing my Guild acoustic bass guitar the most right now.

2018 was mostly J. Got a P in Oct.

Got a PJ in the mail as we speak, and I anticipate it will be my main player. (Voted P+J, possibly prematurely, but I'm pretty confident )
